Imperial law
Imperial law

A man of success is right to be proud of his lifetime achievements. And he is right to pursue new conquests. But let him never forget that a boundless thirst for power and fortune can only lead to defeat. True human growth is impossible without a firm sense of moderation. Only he, who builds an empire within, will never suffer defeat.

Green Monster IPA
Green Monster IPA

An American style IPA, Green Monster matches the bitterness of the hops with caramel malt and oats. Lime, grapefruit, and tropical fruits are felt instantly. The beer is unpasteurised, unfiltered and free from artificial additives. There's a green monster living in the cellar of our brewery, and he can't get enough of this ale. You should try it too!

Mango Milkshake APA
Mango Milkshake APA

One of the hottest new trends in craft beer, the milkshake pale ale is hoppy, fruity and milky. It's like having beer for dessert. Our Mango Milkshake is full of lactose-induced sweetness, whereas the creamy and milk-shaky foam head is obtained from fruit pectin. Mangos are felt intensely through smell, flavour, and color. Lime, grapefruit and orange also making their presence known. An excellent summer beer, Mango Milkshake will also do just fine in wintertime, as a reminder of the warm summer days.

Kraftas Beer
Kraftas Beer

"Krafto alus" is a beer filled with flavor and soul. More than a drink, "Krafto alus" is a social lubricant par excellence. It shapes and colors the mood of your evening by way of powerful narratives of tastes, images and words. "Yankees in Cuba" is a nostalgic musing on lost love. "Ne 8" is a re lection on manliness and gentlemanly sins. "Bishop of Uganda" touches upon the diabolic and the divine. "Double Kaputt" explores the ironies of human relationships. The narratives draw from the memory of Jonas Kraftas, a Livonian German who adopted the manor of Butautai (Lithuanian Highland) as his home by late nineteenth century.

Bringing with him the tradition and elegance of German brewing, he transformed the manor into a local powerhouse of premium craft beer. "Krafto alus" celebrates his accomplishments, adventures and dreams. Confessedly, our memories of Mr. Kraftas have run a little wild. The beer stories are built around the mysterious events that happened one night in 1899, when the manor was struck by a hurricane, and the sleepless brewer was forced to encounter the supernatural in a garden seized by shadows.

Kosmosas
Kosmosas

When the first snow hits the ground, you know it's time for a Baltic porter. To give a unique twist to a classic recipe, we spiced it up by ageing it with French oak and bourbon barrel chips. This black and opaque beer with a caramel colored head is rich in chocolate flavor with vanilla oak aroma notes. The flavor is complemented by dried plums, raisins and liquorish, producing a dark bitter chocolate aftertaste. We named in to honor the eternity of cosmos, as it is usually in wintertime that the human mind starts to wonder about the mysteries of our universe.

St. Exception
St. Exception

Mr. Kraftas has little respect for hard spirits. But there is one exception. A holy flask holding eight barrels of beer.

St. Exception is a beer schnapps distilled in Butautai Manor. A unique and extravagant spirit, beer schnapps is derived from premium craft Indian Pale Ale. Produced by the slow distillation of artisanal lager beer using an antique copper batch distillation system, St. Exception preserves the original scents and flavors of beer.

No Play beer
No Play beer

The most laid-back beer brand to come out from the brewery of Butautai Manor. "No Play Beer" is a line of non-alcoholic beers celebrating laser technologies, a field where Lithuania stands proudly among world leaders. Funny fact: the beer was initially named "Play Beer". This brand name, however, was deemed inappropriate by Lithuania's drug, tobacco and alcohol control department. Beer and playing cannot go together, they said. So, we changed it to "No Play Beer" and got the green light to go ahead.

"No Play Beer" comes in four varieties: with amino acid, with proteins, with vitamins, with calcium.
